Bookstore greeting cards are sold out during this period, thanks to the various Christmas cards that they sell. But why don't you make this year extra-special by creating your own Christmas cards instead? Actually, why focus only on Christmas cards when you can actually create all greeting cards that you give on your own? I once made a giant greeting card to this special person back in high school. I thought that was one of the greatest works of art that I have ever created. Hee hee. The trend of making greeting cards has already become a novelty sorts. Many people are doing it as we speak, so there's no reason that you cannot make your own. Just allow your creativity and imagination to pour in and be surprised with the creative results that will come out. In my personal experience, what I used is some hard paper board, some fancy foils, some pictures, glitters, and glue. You can be as experimental as you wish and alter the materials that you use from the base material to the decorations. The canvas is all yours to innovate on. Just remember that when making greeting cards, it is not just about the creativity that you pour in. It's also about the person that you will give the card to.
