After the dull and frigid winter months, spring has finally arrived with all its colors. With the onset of spring, different art and crafts museums of the country has started making the final preparations for the exhibitions. Fairhope in Alabama is no exception. Fairhope’s Easter Shore Chamber of Commerce has confirmed the dates of 59th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival. This three day long festival will start from March 18, 2011. Someone interested to cherish the beautiful collections of this exhibition can drop into the venue anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entry is free for all. So, come and enjoy the exhibitions this weekend. Like every year, this year too, hundreds of exhibitors from different parts of the country will be participating in this event. As per the reports, more than two hundred exhibitors are expected to showcase their collections in this exhibition. Apart from displaying and selling art works, this exhibition has more to offer. Different types of entertainment activities are planned throughout the day. To give your taste buds a treat, different cuisines will be lined up in the food court. The exhibition will take place in the streets of Fairhope and there will be no dearth of choices to entertain people of all ages. Every year, this event attracts thousands of viewers and records of last year indicate, over 250,000 people paid visit this exhibition. This year too, organizers are expecting a huge crowd in this event and have made necessary arrangements to help people reach Fairhope easily. Baldwin County Area Transportation System [BRATS] has declared to provide shuttle services between Ecor Rouge Place and Plantation Pointe Shopping Center in Eastern Shore Village Center. To make the ride affordable for everyone, one way cost is kept as low as one dollar. If you are driving your own car, park it free of cost and that too, within a short distance from the venue.
