As in any activity that requires creativity and artistic skill, inspiration is needed in making arts and crafts. Sometimes it is not enough that you have the will to make art and the curiosity to create something that you will be proud of. Sometimes, you also need a source of ideas that shall inspire you to create your own art.
This inspiration differs from person to person. Some people just need to go out and meditate while in the park. Some others watch movies or read books and gather enough vision from the text in the books that they read. Meanwhile, others, myself included, gather creative inspiration by listening to classical music. There is something in classical music that personally puts me in a calm state of mind. I guess the same goes for others who have found this activity to be a very generous source of creative inspiration. When the mind is calm and clear, there is room for artistic ingenuity. Ideas for potential arts and crafts projects are unveiled. And since music is my inspiration, it also follows that whatever art I make is largely dependent on the mood of the music that I listen to. A soft, jolly music, such as Bethena pushes me to use bright colors and themes. Otherwise, strong, solemn, and distressing music can also be reflected in my works. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and the rest of the classical musicians that once roamed this land all had a great effect on the art that I produce. The crafts that I make are in no way at par with the artists who inspired them, but I must say that my art is at best when they are there to give that much-needed inspiration. I once dreamed of becoming a very good pianist. Unfortunately, I was never able to learn how to play this musical instrument. Despite this, the piano (and classical music in general) still plays a large role in my life, both the artistic side and that which is not. You can talk about...
